Unique Holiday Shopping at Belmont Gallery of Art’s Small Works

Show and Sale Dec. 9-21

 The Belmont Gallery of Art presents its Annual Small Works Holiday Show and Sale December 9-21. With all works priced below $200, the BGA’s Small Works Show gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase an original piece of art for themselves or as a gift, while helping to support local artists. An opening reception for Small Works takes place Sunday, Dec. 9. 2-4pm.

 The Small Works Holiday Show and Sale offers original art by several dozen local artists in a variety of media selected with gift purchasing in mind. Gallery visitors and shoppers will enjoy the display created by the artists while also finding unique and interesting gifts for holiday giving. All work presented in the show is available for sale with items taken at the time of purchase.

 The Belmont Gallery of Art will be open during special hours for the sale - Thursdays and Fridays, December 13 and 14, 20 and 21, from 10am to 4pm, and from 6:30-8:30pm; and Sundays, December 9 and 16, from1 to 4 pm.


Since opening its doors in July 2005, the Belmont Gallery of Art has presented close to fifty shows featuring the work of dozens of artists. It’s offered a professional architecturally significant place for artists to display their work and visitors to view such work. The BGA has been praised throughout the community for its support and promotion of the arts and culture in Belmont.


The Belmont Gallery of Art is located in the Town Hall Complex, on the 3rd floor of the Homer Bldg., 19 Moore St., Belmont Center. Wheelchair accessible. Events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours for Small Works are Thurs., 10-4, Fri. 10-4, 6:30-8:30, and Sun. 1-4. Please visit the BGA’s website at www.belmontgallery.org
