Powers Music School presents Music on Mondays: Come Away, Sweet Love
Powers Music School hosts a romantic evening of period music during this Music on Mondays concert entitled, Come Away, Sweet Love. This free concert features an ensemble of Powers faculty member Jessica Cooper, soprano; with guest artists Thea Lobo, mezzo-soprano; Rosalind Stowe, viola da gamba; and James Meadors, lute. Performance material includes the Renaissance repertoire of Thomas Morley and John Dowland, arranged on themes of love and human nature.
