A baby great horned owl was rescued Wednesday at the Paine Estate in Waltham, according to a post on Waltham Animal Control’s Facebook page.

The owl, which was brought to Tufts Wildlife Clinic in North Grafton, was out of his nest, which he shouldn’t have been. Animal Control was unable to locate the nest.

The owl’s two siblings were found dead Tuesday.
