What's the Weather Forecast for Halloween in Belmont?

Will you need a heavy or rain coat for tricks or treats?

Nobody likes a cold Halloween. And even fewer people like a wet one.

Which brings us to the weather forecast for Halloween 2013, Thursday night.

The treat looks like it won't be too chilly with highs in the mid-50s Thursday night (Sunset is at 5:39 p.m.). But a trick could be in store, too: While the forecast for rain is only 20 percent during the day, the chance of rain showers jumps up to 70 percent after 6 p.m. and it will be windy (20 to 30 mph) from the warm South by Southwest according to Weather.com.

Some advice: If you're dressing up, incorporate an umbrella or raincoat into your costume this year.
