Belmont Residents Were in Attendance at Mount Auburn Hospital's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Mount Auburn Hospital’s Auxiliary hosted the 10th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Hospital’s Stanton Lobby on Thursday, December 12th! Funds from this year’s event are still being counted but over the past nine years, the Tree Lighting Ceremony has raised over $100,000 for the Hospital, due to the generosity of hundreds of contributors to this annual event. The evening featured performances by the Belmont High School Madrigal Singers and the Waltham High School Guitar Ensemble, and an audience Sing-Along concluded the ceremony, followed by a reception. The tree is 32 feet high and has 28,000 lights on it… it’s the largest and fullest the Hospital has ever had!
