My Vote Is For Rogers in November

I hope that my fellow Belmont voters in the upcoming election will join me in supporting Dave Rogers for State Representative.

Of the candidates in the election, Dave has by far the greatest range and depth of experience that will help Belmont, Arlington, and Cambridge.

He's focused on being effective, both at reaching voters and figuring out how to best represent them. He's worked in judicial, executive, and legislative posts in the public sector--and has also worked in high-tech manufacturing firms and clean-energy software companies, so he understands the economy of the 21st century. I am impressed by his commitment to addressing the issues facing our town and our district: public transportation, public health, environmental concerns, school funding, and public safety.

Like Will Brownsberger, whose independence was a hallmark of his service in the House, Dave will be an effective member of the Democratic majority – but he will be fiercely independent when it comes to meeting the needs of our district and finding new ways to address the Commonwealth’s many challenges.

I have seen how hard Dave has worked in this campaign. Each time I have talked to Dave it has been an engaging conversation on why he wants to be the next State Representative for Belmont, Arlington and Cambridge.

Dave Rogers will be our advocate for the core issues that are so important to all of us. I am positive that he will continue to work tirelessly – and independently – for the future of our community.
