Belmont Police, Fire to Honor Their Own Tonight

Town's public safety awards ceremony to be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Beech Street Center.

The Belmont Police Department in conjunction with its public safety partner, the Belmont Fire Department will be hosting a joint Awards Ceremony today at the Beech Street Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

The ceremony will be an opportunity for the departments to honor their respective award recipients and recognize their outstanding performance. It is also an opportunity for their families and friends to witness and share the moment of the deserving members and to let them know how proud we are of their accomplishments, said Belmont Assistant Police Chief James MacIsaac.

The police department will also be awarding the “Barron Family Belmont Police Achievement Award” this year, recognizing the outstanding performance of a member of the Police Department, nominated by any member of the department.
