Belmont Woman Wanted For Credit Card Theft, Fraud
Suspect - seen in surveillance camera at CVS in Belmont - allegedly stole purse with the cards inside from a TJMaxx in Waltham and used them in Saugus and Belmont.
are asking for help in locating a woman they believe is a Belmont resident who was involved in a theft and credit card fraud last week.
A shopper at on Friday, Feb. 25 put her wallet and purse down while shopping only to notice they had disappeared later, according to the police Facebook page. Her credit cards were later used at other stores in Waltham, Belmont and Saugus.
Police describes the woman as thin with blonde hair and about 30 years old. Surveillance cameras at the Trapelo Road CVS caught her allegedly using one of the cards.
