According to police, a man entered the facility in March, and then again on Sept. 24, asking to buy a prosthetic arm. The employee explained how prosthetic limbs are prescribed by a doctor and then purchased. Stealing her car back

A 59-year old Needham woman faces charges after she allegedly removed her vehicle from a tow yard after business hours on Sept. 23. Police were called to the Clyde Street business the following day for the report of motor vehicle larceny. Police determined that the owner of the vehicle, which had been towed for having no insurance, had taken the vehicle from the lot the evening before and brought it back to her home.
Video surveillance showed the suspect attaching plates to the vehicle and driving away from the lot. The vehicle owner told police she knew she owed more than $2,000 in charges to the tow company when she drove away.
The woman is being summonsed to court for uninsured operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered operation of a motor vehicle and attaching plates. The tow company reportedly plans to seek damages in small claims court: http://needham.patch.com/articles/police-reports-6b6c4616

A man told Newton police Monday that someone had messed with his delivery trucks over the weekend. According to reports, the man parked the two trucks in a parking lot behind a Winchester Street building on Friday. When his delivery drivers came in Monday morning, they found the tailgates on both vehicles did not work. After investigating the trucks, it was determined someone had cut the wires that controlled the tailgate: http://patch.com/A-yfCK
