Apply for Summer Internships with State Rep. Rogers

Work this summer on Beacon Hill.

State Rep. Dave Rogers, who represents Belmont and parts of Cambridge and Arlington, will have two unpaid summer internships at his State House office in Boston.

The internships are available to high school students who have completed their sophomore year, college students or graduates from the 24th Middlesex District.

Internships at the Statehouse offer many opportunities, including policy research, constituent services, networking, and daily seminars presented by the State House specifically for interns.

Interns will spend between 10 and 20 hours in office each week, and may also have the opportunity to do research out of the office.  College graduates with additional time will have an opportunity to set up longer-term internships without these restrictions.

The deadline for applications will be Friday, April 19 at 5 p.m., with interviews in the next two weeks. Applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, May 3.
