Belmont Department of Public Works Open House May 3

Open House will celebrating National Public Works Week.

National Public Works Week is May 18-24 and the Belmont Department of Public Works is celebrating by inviting the public to an open house at the DPW yard at the end of C Street on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain date is Saturday, May 10th same time).

The DPW is inviting families to come down and meet Public Works employees, see heavy equipment, ask questions, collect recycling and water conservation information. There will be raffles, cold drinks, balloons and coloring books for the kids!

The American Public Works Association assists communities in recognizing National Public Works Week as a celebration of the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as Public Works.
