Brownsberger Announces Summer Internships

Up to four part-time unpaid opportunities in the State House.

State Sen. Will Brownsberger will have up to four part-time unpaid internships in his State House office this summer. Internships are open to college students and to high school students entering their junior or senior year. Each internship will require a commitment of 10 to 12 hours a week.

Legislative internships offer students a wide variety of experiences including issue research, constituent service, legislative work and budget tracking. Daily seminars on different aspects of state government are scheduled by the State Senate.

Interviews will be arranged in March or early April and applicants will be notified of their status by April 30.

College graduates may be able to arrange additional non-office internships based on policy development.  The application process is the same as above.
