D'oh! Simpsons, Seinfeld Writer Tom Gammill at Brother's Campaign HQ for Talk

Candidate's brother, writer for "The Simpsons", "Seinfeld" will be speaking to students about television writing.

Tom Gammill, a writer/producer on "The Simpsons" and former writer on "Seinfeld" will be in Belmont on Saturday, November 3, to talk to students about writing for TV, and how he used humor to get through high school and college.

Tom is the brother of Jim Gammill, who is now running for state representative as the Independent candidate in Massachusetts’s 24th district.

"In high school I wasn't smart like my brother Jim," says Gammill, "but I could make my teachers laugh, which helped a lot. Except in math. You can't joke your way out of a bad algebra test."
