Final Day to Register to Vote in Senate Primary

Town Clerk's Office will be open until 8 p.m. to make sure you can vote on Dec. 13.

It's less than three weeks before Belmont voters head to the ballot booth to elect party candidates to fill the empty seat to represent the Second Suffolk and Middlesex district on Beacon Hill.

If you are hoping to vote in either the Democrat or Republican special election primary, today, Wednesday, Nov. 23, is the final day to register to vote on Dec. 13.

To help you on this busy day-before-Thanksgiving, Town Clerk Ellen Cushman said theoffice will be open until 8 p.m. so people can register.

In addition, it is a great time to obtain an absentee ballot for yourself or a family member – a student away at college or serving in the armed forces – from Belmont Town Hall for the primary election.

Voters can download an application for an absentee ballot here and for family members here.
