Little Help? Town Seeks Volunteers to Fill Committee Openings

Have your say in the running of Belmont; join a committee.

Belmont is currently seeking interested residents who represent a variety of skills and talents to fill certain vacant volunteer committee positions within the town's governmental structure.

Committees with current vacancies are:

  • Cultural Council
  • Disabilities Access Commission
  • Human Rights Commission
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Advisory Committee
  • Traffic Advisory Committee
  • Vision Implementation Committee
And another committee vacancies: 
  • Recreation Commission

Applications are accepted on an on-going basis for those interested in being appointed to a committee by the Board of Selectmen. Applications will remain active for one year however applying does not guarantee your appointment.

To apply, fill out the volunteer interest form located in the volunteer section of the town’s website. This form maybe returned either electronically or in hard copy form to the Selectmen’s Office. 

For a list of all Current Boards, Committees, and Commissions or to learn more about them please visit the Current Boards and Committees section on the Town’s website.

Interested persons are requested to complete an application for the above committees by Nov. 22.
