McCarthy Kicks Off Campaign Taking In $10K

Former Boston Mayor Flynn lends his support to former union head.

kicked off his campaign Thursday, Nov. 17, with an overflow crowd at Hibernian Hall in Watertown that raised $10,000 for his campaign. 

“Folks are tired of wealthy career politicians catering to special interests,” said McCarthy. 

“I have one interest only – the folks that I will represent, the voiceless, the underdogs.”
 
More than 500 hundred people came out to help Bob in his quest to be the successor Steve Tolman.

Special guests included former Ambassador to the Vatican and former Mayor of Boston Ray Flynn and other community leaders from throughout the district.
 
“I have been fighting for the underdog and working people my entire life,” said McCarthy. 

“I challenge my opponents to match my record of results on behalf of working people and those in need – they aren’t in my league!”
