Multiple news outlets, including WMUR-TV and Politico, are reporting that Scott Brown could form an exploratory committee as early as Friday to run for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire.

Brown is one of several big-name GOP speakers at this weekend's Northeast Republican Leadership Conference in Nashua. He's scheduled to speak on Friday afternoon.

New Hampshire Democratic Party spokesman Harrell Kirstein issued the following statement Thursday on the Brown news:

"Scott Brown is for Scott Brown and the powerful interests that back him, not New Hampshire. So when he gets back from his next trip to Iowa, he'll find himself in a tough Republican Primary against Republicans who are actually from New Hampshire. If he survives that, he’ll face an even tougher general election against Jeanne Shaheen, whose common sense leadership makes a difference for New Hampshire and people here know it. New Hampshire isn't going to let Scott Brown and his big oil buddies like the Koch Brothers buy themselves a Senate seat."

He ditched MA for an easier state to win in. He will indeed have to mind his opinion on weapons to make it in NH.

Just enjoy your high paying gig at Fox News. Nobody like a carpetbagger and the latest polls indicate that those in NH dont like them either.

And the difference between a blue state republican and red state democrat is??? "I'll vote for the 1/2 dozen eggs please." "What? You idiot. 6 eggs is the only way to go!"

Scotty got the go from the Koch brothers. If he's elected up there NH will have two liberal senators for the first time. So I guess I shouldn't complain . I win both ways.
