Save the Dates: Elections for 2011 and 2012
Town Clerk's office release the voting schedule.
It will be a busy year for Belmont residents as the dates for national, state and local elections has been released.
Residents should keep in mind that they must be registered to vote by the eligibility deadline which is 20 days before the election to vote.
And there could be two additional Spring elections for residents if current state Rep. Will Brownsberger wins the special State Sen. election to replace Steven Tolman in the Second Suffolk and Middlesex district.

If a resident will be out of Belmont on Election Day and are unable to vote in person Election Day, said those people should consider filing a written request for an absentee ballot to be mailed or vote in-person absentee at the Town Clerk’s office beginning approximately two weeks before the election.
