The schedule has been set for the public interviews of the prospective Town Administrator.
The meetings will take place on Tuesday, May 29 in the Board of Selectmen's room in Town Hall. The candidates will be speaking to and answering questions from the three-member Selectmen board.
The line-up is:
• 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.: David Kale, Cambridge's budget director and deputy finance director.
• 9:45 a.m. to 10:45: Charles Aspinwall, Millis' town administrator, and
• 11 a.m. to noon: Peter Morin, chief of staff and operations in Braintree.
The town administrator's salary will be in the $140,000 to $160,000 range.
According to people in Town Hall, the interviews along with the need of the three candidates to meet with the heads of the largest departments will likely delay the hiring of the new administrator until mid-June, pushing back the effective first day on the job to as far back as August 1.
