Belmont Honors: On the Dean's List and Where They Are Heading

Residents honored for academic achievement.

Nicolas Palandjian will attend Ohio Wesleyan University this fall, where he will study business and writing. Palandjian is a graduate of Dexter School. His activities include lacrosse, hockey, video games, and fishing. He is the son of Paul and Dionne Palandjian. 

Megan Foley has enrolled at James Madison University in Virginia for the fall 2013 semester. Foley plans to major in interdisciplinary liberal studies.

Carolyn Preston, a member of the Class of 2015, was named to the Marist College Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester.

Christian Mombru earned a place on the Dean's List at Boston's Berklee College of Music. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above.

Andrew J. Musler and Hannah R. Silverfine were named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List during the Spring 2013 semester. To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

Stephen Hakim was placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2013 semester with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher while Kenneth Anderson was placed on the Dean's Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement, having earned a quality point average in the range of 3.30 to 3.59.

Sarinne Ghazarian was named to the Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for spring quarter 2013, earning a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter.

Julia A. Barry (Belmont High School) and Madochee Bozier (Mount Saint Joseph Academy) from the Class of 2016, Jayson J. Ito-Adler (Belmont High School) Class of 2013 and Caitlin M. Vorlicek (Dana Hall School) Class of 2014 were named to the Dean's List at Colby College with grade point averages of 3.7 or higher.
