Girls' Soccer Makes Early Work of Senior Night

A Smith brace in the first five minutes lead Marauders to 5-1 beat down of Reading.

Two shots, two goals.

It was a great start for Belmont High School Girls' Soccer – thanks to a pair of sniper shots by Sophia Eisenbach-Smith (who would end up with a hat trick) in the first five minutes after the opening whistle – Thursday, Oct. 18, as Belmont would go on to win 5-1 against Reading High School under the Harris Field lights against Reading High School.

After the Rockets rallied to cut their deficit in half at 2-1, a hard-charging Charlotte Alexander got in front of the Reading's goalies clearing kick which rocketed straight into the net with six minutes remaining in the first half.
