Party with POMS to the Sounds of the 70s

Get down to the music and dancing of a fundraiser to support music programs in Belmont schools.

(POMS) invites all current and former students, parents, and all residents of Belmont to attend a fabulous fundraising dance and music event – Sounds of the Seventies – on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m in the Belmont High School cafeteria.

Sponsored by POMS and , the event features music by local favorite, Richard Curzi, his acclaimed band, Positive Energy, and student musicians from the and . 

“This event is designed to benefit our children and our community by bringing people together, through music, in support of music," said Debra Smith, one of the night's planners.

Besides music, dancing and refreshments, the evening will also include a variety of raffle prizes.

With tickets modestly priced at $20 per person, $10 for students and seniors, and $40 per family, all proceeds will go to Belmont’s K-12 music program, one of the great sources of pride in the school system and one which has suffered budget cutbacks in recent years.
