Spring Is Coming and So Is Foundation Fundraiser

Spring! The beginning of baseball on Brandon Grant Field, the first crocuses arrive and the highpoint of the social year in Belmont with the Foundation for Belmont Education's 2013 Spring Fundraiser.

And this year, the Foundation will enter its third decade as the group – which has raised more than $2 million and counting to the Belmont Public Schools –celebrates its 20th birthday at the annual fundraiser on Saturday, March 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Belmont Hill School. 

The annual themed Spring dinner/live auction continues its tradition of raising funds to support Belmont's six public schools while bringing the community together for a wonderful, festive evening.

An example of the items that will be auctioned this year is a summer weekend at a Nantucket home located minutes from Surfside Beach and town. (If you cannot join us, we will be accepting proxy bids; contact us at the email address below.)

But don't be left out as tickets are going (very) quickly as a quarter of tickets have been sold in just the first week they have been available. Foundation members are suggesting supporters to purchase tickets before the school vacation here.  

For the past three years, the fundraiser has sold out before the reply date, which this year March 1.
