Some fans of the Boston Bruins are growing "playoff" beards. Others are paying several thousand dollars for tickets to see their favorites.
But you really don't have to give up the razor blade or spend a few months salary to enjoy the Bruins on their way to their second Stanley Cup in three years.
In Belmont, you can get your Cup mojo on by visiting a pair of bakeries to feast on delicious baked goods with a destinctive Bruins flavor - literally.
At iconic Ohlin's Bakery in Cushing Square (456 Common St., 617-484-0274), the bakers have produced cupcakes ($1.35), minicakes ($2.25) and their favorite layer cake ($10.99) with the destinctive Bruin's "B" in black and gold frosting.
"They are very popular and are going fast," said baker Joanne Mann who said the store will continue making them for the Cup run.
Down the street, Yum Bunnies Cakery (241 Belmont St., 617-484-3300), owner Jessa Sahakian now only has created her classic Boston Bruins "B" cake but during this finals will also produce wonderful cupcakes with the jerseys of Bruins favorite players on top.
You will need to order in advance from Yum Bunnies but what a way to celebrate the Bruins raising the Cup with your own Bruins cake!
