Watertown/Belmont Pop Warner Playoff Run Ends In Wilmington
Defeated Eastie before falling to Wilmington in regional playoffs.
Belmont athletes on High School teams are not the only sports teams that have made impressive runs in the playoffs.
Watertown/Belmont Pop Warner B team, including several eight-grade Belmont boys, defeated East Boston, 36-6, in the first-round of the playoffs this past Saturday, Nov. 2. The team's season ended after suffering a 20-8 loss to top-ranked Wilmington in which the team was still in the game until the final three minutes.
A nice run and some good news on the football front in Belmont.
