Come See Who Will Become 'Mr. Belmont' Wednesday

Belmont High School fundraiser will support Make-A-Wish charity.

Belmont High School will be holding "Mr. Belmont" Pageant 2013 tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. in the School's Auditorium. 

The entire town is invited to this family-friendly event, where junior and senior young men will compete for the title of "Mr. Belmont." The contestants will be judged on beachwear, talent, formal wear and  answers to questions/interviews.

Contestants include juniors Grant Addis, Kevin Chen, Michael El-Hayek and David Green. Seniors are Jonathan Comeau, Vinny DiGiovanni, Alex Griffin, Craig Janjigiian, and Will Staub.

Cheer for your favorites, have some refreshments during intermission and join the school family for an entertaining evening.

The Community Service class, which is organizing the event, has chosen Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island as the charity to  receive all of the proceeds. Make-A-Wish is a foundation whose mission is to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Members of the class have said that Mr. Belmont is important to us because it brings our school and town community together for a great cause.

Tickets will be available at the door, beginning at 6:15 PM, for $5 for children and students and $7 for adults.
