Recreation Department seeks to provide all residents with the opportunity to enjoy activities around town. Offered to all ages, the department sponsors programs, such as youth sports and special events, as well as maintains the town's parks, pools and playgrounds.
The department runs the Payson Park Music Festival and the historic Underwood Pool, the first outdoor community pool in the United States, dedicated in 1912.
