Unfortunately the only one that made it was the basil (the rosemary and thyme didn't grow and something feasted on my parsley) but thankfully there is a lot of basil. Since we are heading to a party this weekend, have a ton of basil and locally grown tomatoes are in their prime I thought I would make a bruschetta to take with us. This easy to make seven layer dip is great for parties since it is best served at room temperature and won't take up valued space in the host's fridge.

I am lucky enough to be a part of this little crew and though I love to get together I always find myself a bit stressed as to what to bring.
