Belmont would be proud that 10 runners finished the BAA Boston Marathon in such oppressive conditions. How about 19 of 23? A note from William Hees – who also ran Monday in the 116th edition of the annual race from Hopkintion to Boston – while paying tribute to Robert Cipriano who finished in 2 hours and 48 minutes and took second place in the 50-54 age group also noted that more than 10 racers completed the course that was reported in Belmont Patch yesterday.
