Belmont Cultural Council Announces 2013 Grant Recipients
Funds up to $500 to town and area groups that highlight the arts in Belmont.
In partnership with the Massachusetts Cultural Council's Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program, the Belmont Cultural Council has awarded grants ranging from $200 to $500 for the coming year to the following recipients: Janet Amdur for a public mural on Trapelo Road, beside Belmont Studio Cinema. Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell for a children’s song and story event at the Belmont Public Library. Belmont Gallery of Art for the promotion of Spring 2013 shows. Belmont High School Performing Arts for costumes for “Grease.” Belmont Woman’s Club for Winslow Homer events. Belmont World Film for a program of family films.
