Belmont AD Davis Honored with State Award

Awarded with highest honor for an athletic director in secondary education in Massachusetts.

For the thousand of students who have suited up in a Belmont uniform or whose only sporting activity was a PE class, for the past decade Jim Davis has been a steady presence in keeping all the moving parts of Belmont High School athletics operating like clockwork. Belmont High's Athletic Director and head of Student Activities and Physical Education, Davis is also well known in Massachusetts interscholastic circles as a mentor and leading voice on policy and procedure among his fellow educators. Today, the executive board of Massachusetts Secondary School Athletic Directors Association selected Davis as the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association State Award of Merit winner.
