Woodfall Road Site Prepared for Sale
As opposition to a commercial project grows, town prepares draft RFP for land on Belmont Hill.
With opposition growing in the back end of Belmont Hill, the town is moving forward to sell a one-and-a-half acre parcel of land off Woodfall Road that an Atlanta firm has expressed interest in building an end-of-life facility. A draft of a request for proposal for the 229,000 square-foot town-owned parcel situated off Greenbrook Way and Woodfall abutting Belmont Country Club was presented to the Board of Selectmen at its Monday night, Aug. 6, meeting.
