Belmont Frosh Harrier, Veteran Coach Honored as Globe All-Scholastics
Brams, Coach Crosscup named to list of outstanding athletes, coaches.
Belmont High School's autumn athletic season was capped off with two of their brightest picking up end-of-the-season honors as freshman cross country standout Leah Brams and long-time swimming coach Ev Crosscup were named to the Boston Globe's Fall All-Scholastic teams in the Boston Sunday Globe, Dec. 9. Brams, who set records on her home Clay Pit Pond course every time she raced, was one of three ninth graders named an Girls' Cross Country All-Scholastic. Brams went undefeated in the Middlesex League and won the league title before finishing second in the Division 2 Eastern Mass. championships and seventh in the state championships.
