Nor'easter to affect Wednesday commute, will be accompanied with damaging winds.
A nor'easter is kicking up winds and parcipatation in Belmont today, with sleet and snow already falling in the Town of Homes and to the north of Boston. According to WHDH meteorologist Chris Lambert, the precipitation was predicted to start between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., and would likely impact the afternoon commute. Atmospheric conditions are converting falling rain into snow in Boston north, though that would mean merely a dusting on grass before quickly melting away. The actual rain/snow line is harder to predict.
