Belmont High Students Spending Valentine's Day in Their PJs

School will hold its annual “Pajamarama” on Feb. 14.

Next week on St. Valentine Day, the halls and classrooms at Belmont High School will be filled with students who will come to school wearing their pajamas. No, they aren't love-sick teenagers who forgot to dress for school. Once again, Belmont High School is participating in the PJ Drive for Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization in Brighton, which provides gently-used clothes and gear for needy Massachusetts children. On Feb. 14, the school will hold its annual “Pajamarama,” when students and staff wear PJs in exchange for a donation. In addition, local shop owners contribute door prizes for participating students. In addition, the High School coordinate similar PJ days in other schools.
