Holiday Wreath Sale on Common Street This Weekend

Boy Scouts continue 40-year Christmas tradition across from Methodist Church a block from Cushing Square.

While the Christmas tree and a menorah are indoor symbols of the season, a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays for all to see is with a wreath for the front door or above the threshold. And this weekend, Belmont residents can get their ring of evergreen while supporting the oldest continuously active scout troop in New England. Now in its 40th year, Belmont's Boy Scout Troop 304 will be selling gorgeous wreaths decorated with bows, cones, and 'berries' or just a plain in four sizes. And they'll put it in your car and not leave needles.  Funds raised help to support Boy Scout activities like camping and many community service and Eagle Scout projects that benefit the Belmont community. Wreaths will be sold across the street from Belmont…
