A Belmont resident wasn't being a good neighbor as Watertown Police arrested her after she allegedly destroyed a crosswalk warning barrel before being pulled over for driving on a deflated tire. An officer patrolling on Main Street by Waverley Avenue pulled over a woman identified as 25-year-old Marguerite J. Conley, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. "The officer observed a Honda Accord travellling at a high rate of speed with a front tire that had been shredded," Lawn said. The officer pulled the car over on Waverley Avenue and smelled a strong odor of alcohol on Conley's breath, Lawn said. Field sobriety tests were performed, and Conely was placed under arrest.
