Belmont Police Department detectives identified and arrested the accomplice of Peter Bozier who was involved in a violent assault Saturday night on Weber Road, according to BPD Lt. Richard Santangelo. William Chen, 20, of 37 Gordon Terr., was arrested this afternoon, Oct. 18, at his home and was charged with two counts of assault and battery and one count of intimidating a witness. He will be arraigned in Cambridge District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 18. In addition to Chen's arrest, further investigation into Saturday's beating has resulted in the arrest warrant for Bozier to be updated to include possession of ammunition. Bozier, of 19 Weber Rd., continues to be a fugitive of the law.

Peter Bozier, 19, is wanted for an alleged attack Saturday night.
The Belmont Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Peter Bozier, 19, of 19 Weber Rd. in Belmont, for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to BPD Lt. Richard Santangelo. On Saturday night, Oct. 15, around 8 p.m., Bozier and an accomplice allegedly attacked another man by repeatedly kicking him in the head until he was unconscious. The injured male was transported by people at the scene to an area hospital for treatment. Belmont Police said the beating was not a random attack. If anyone witnessed suspicious activity on Weber Road around that time or encounters Bozier, Belmont Police request you call 617-993-2501.
