It's less than three weeks before Belmont voters head to the ballot booth to elect party candidates to fill the empty seat to represent the Second Suffolk and Middlesex district on Beacon Hill. If you are hoping to vote in either the Democrat or Republican special election primary, today, Wednesday, Nov. 23, is the final day to register to vote on Dec. 13. To help you on this busy day-before-Thanksgiving, Town Clerk Ellen Cushman said the Town Clerk's office will be open until 8 p.m. so people can register.
