Steve Kendall, Neighbor

Steve started his journalism career while at Fitchburg State College by starting the Central Mass. High School Hockey Report, which sponsored the region's first all-star game. That eventually led to a full-time job with the Sentinel & Enterprise in 1992, where Steve covered high school, college, and pro sports – including Lance Armstrong's 1992 win at the Longsjo Classic – before taking a job teaching English at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton in 1999. Since then, he freelances for the Patch, the Boston Herald, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Hockey Journal, and The Hockey Writers.com. Steve coaches ice hockey and softball at Nashoba, and is an avid college and pro hockey fan. He loves the Detroit Red Wings and Boston University and hates everything Boston College.
